Lou Garou is a Metis (that is French/Amerindian) from Quebec whose adolescent angst was compounded when he suffered from UGE in a country whose government didn’t completely recognize metahumans as sentient. He became a member of the FOA (the Friends Of Anglophiles) and the DQFFP (Democratic Quebecois For Free Para-animals) while he was in high school mostly as a way of acting out against authority, but he became entangled in their philosophy. He was approached by Wolf while working for the DQFFP, and he soon became an extremely adept shaman. He used his new abilities to aid the DQFFP.
He went to college to study parazoology and magical theory, but he never graduated. He met Hitomi, a smuggler who was moving goods from Seattle for the DQFFP. She took him back to Seattle and they got married. She also got him into shadowrunning for fun and profit.
He has a variety of spells to help in combat and infiltration (he’s especially good at combat spells, thanks to Wolf). He’s not great at astral combat, preferring to rely on his wikkid awesome ability to summon animal spirits.
