So what. Im supposed to write something here?
ok. I *think* I got the hang of this now.
so im going x-mas shopping with my mom tomorrow night. NO frickin' clue even who i'm shopping for. So if there's anything anyone wants, lemme know now. Not that I'll get you anything. But I did get these crazy cool cards from work everyone's getting.
Still recovering from the other crapy day.
Oh man, I wonder if this is going to take the place of my emails? Or will I eventually just stop blogging because I have a bazillion blogs I don't post to anymore. lj always hangs on though.

My adventures and sleepless nights

Before I begin my story, I would just like to say that It was my brother's birthday on THursday and we celebrated at the Olive Garden with his girlfriend Dana and him on Friday. It was fun. It was good to hang out with him and my fam. again (now that I don't live there anymore that Is.)
I was going to write a short story about my last 2 days, but unfortunatly Im just tired enough to not be able to get past the first sentance, but not tired enough to be really good at writing.
This is a follow up to the
entry the other day:
I had a sleepless EEG schedualed for today at 8am. So I did my best to calculate when and how much I should sleep Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. This is because at 8am Yesterday (Sunday), I had to get up.
I decided thursday I should stay up late, and sleep in fri. morning. Friday night I decided to go to bed a little earlier and still get 8 hours. Saturday night was tricky though becasue it was Joe's birthday party and I needed to get up at 8am the next day. We stayed until 11:00pm at his party and then went home to sleep. Im sure i got shomething close to 8 hours, but it wasn't quite 8.
Sunday afternoon, my mom and Terra came over to do crafts. It was fun. Unfortunatly, I was tired from the minute I woke up.
This is where friends come in. And boy do I have some great ones. Later, Eva came over to do crafts too. Sarah was going to keep me company too, but because of mean snow, she couldn't. It's ok though because I got to talk to to her on the phone which was a rarity too. Kat came over at 9pm, which is when Joe came home. Terra and Eva had to go home, but the rest of us met Erik at eastgate to catch Narnia. (my review later.) After, Erik drove Joe home (joey had to work this morning. He get's no sick time, so he couldn't rescue me last night.) Kat took me to Walgreens and bought me eye drops. She's an angel I swear. Then Erik, Kat and I watched some home movies until I started crashing, and we took the party to the east side Denny's where we chilled and chatted until 4:30am. I put my fav. jeans on before Denny's and did this:
my dad called me at 4:30am to keep an eye on me and talk to me until 7:30am when my mom drove me to my appointment.
I had an hour of tests to try to bring on Seizures. The first was flashing lights. Quite painful twards the end. the second: i had to breathe like i was running a marathon for 4 minnutes. Even more painful. The last was the sleeping. I think I did the last part best, but he did wake me up to tell me not to clench my teeth. oops.
This is the left over glue from the electrodes that's still on my head even after washing. Guess I'll be making a bandana for work tomorrow:
I still can't drive. I have to wait until test results come back. Work is not as sympathetic to my cause. "cant you take the bus?" is the responce to "i can only work 9-5 shifts until i find out". How fucking rediculous. I don't have the money to take the bus 10 blocks. honestly. and then i'd still have to walk. Either way, this sucks. My parents are goign to be helping me with rides. I have to go in with joe this week, wait at work a 1/2 an hour, then get picked up either my parents or other people.
so that's my weekend.
